Norwegian reaffirms its confidence in Bilbao airport with a direct line to Stockholm

The Route Development Committee of Bilbao Airport brings, once again, good news for Bizkaia/Euskadi. As a result of the work and collaboration among all its members, the airline Norwegian will offer this summer a direct flight from Bilbao to Stockholm International Airport, also known as Arlanda, located 42 km north of the Swedish capital.
The company will offer two weekly flights (departing on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings) from June 14 and from today, day 6, tickets can be purchased.
The arrival of this route by Norwegian is news that has been long awaited and, for which purpose, the airport’s Route Committee, which acts as an interlocutor between the airlines and the different administrations of the Basque Country, has worked in coordination to accompany them in their growth or implementation.
Led by the Department of Transport, Mobility and Tourism of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, the Committee is made up of the Bilbao City Council, the Basque Government, Aena, Bilbao Air and the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce.
