Bilbao Airport starts the winter season with 46 available destinations

A Lufthansa Airbus A320 bound for Frankfurt started this Sunday the winter season at Bilbao Airport. A campaign that will last until the last weekend of March and in which the Biscayan terminal maintains an attractive offer. There are 46 destinations to which you can fly from La Paloma in the coming months, a number identical to that of last winter.

There are not many novelties presented by Bilbao Airport for the next five months in its list of destinations. However, there are some noteworthy ones. This is the case of Budapest, a destination served by Vueling for the December long weekend and Christmas. Most likely, it will serve as a test to give it greater continuity in the summer campaign. A summer season in which the great attraction will be the recently announced direct connection with New York thanks to United.

The airlines have a total of 2.8 million tickets on sale, maintaining the same trend as in the 2023 winter season. Taking into account the good performance of Bilbao Airport so far this year, in addition to the forecasts for the remainder of 2024, everything suggests that La Paloma will once again break its passenger record, reaching around seven million passengers.
